RELEASE APPLICATION
RADSIL UV RELEASE COATINGS may
be applied by many different processes varying from direct gravure to flexographic
methods. RADSIL UV Release Coatings are compatible with any Acrylic or
Rubber based laminating or pressure sensitive adhesive. The variables that control release
properties are the chemistry of the adhesive as well as proper curing and film weight.
Higher film weights tend to seal more of the substrate allowing less of the adhesive to
attach itself to the substrate forming another bond. We recommend that the application of
the release coating for varying film weights be examined carefully for the best results.
