ICM 5100
Polyalkoxylated Polyether

ICM 5100 is a polyalkoxylated polyether that has an average molecular weight of 4000.
ICM 5100 shows good tolerance to acidic and alkalai systems and exhibits excellent heat
stability.  It shows little or no effect to most natural and synthetic rubber compounds.

ICM 5100 is soluble in water, alcohols, ketones, glycoethers, esters, chlorinated solvents,
benzene, toluene, propylene glycol, fatty acids, and castor oil. It is insoluble in kerosene,
coconut oil, petroleum ether, glycerin, silicone oil, and triethanol amine.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Used to replace animal, vegetable,
    and mineral oils in personal care formulations.

  • Chemical intermediate in preparation of resins, plasticizers, modifiers, and other specialty surfactants.

  • Useful as heat transfer medium or hydraulic fluid

  • Used in the preparation of gear lubricants, brake fluids, brake part coatings, rubber, and textile lubricants.

ICM 5100 is available in 40 lbs. pails and 460 pound net drums.
