ICM 529C

ICM 529C is a 90% active vinyl fumerate polymer in petroleum oil, which has less than
10 parts per billion (ppb) of DBD and DBF and has less than 1 ppb dioxane. 

It is designed to enhance performance of pulp and paper processing products.

All ingredients of ICM 529C are listed on the Canadian DSL, and TOSCA inventory lists. 
ICM 529C is approved for use under FDA regulation 21CFR 176.210.

 

TYPICAL PROPERTIES:

Specific Gravity @25°C ---------  0.98 - 1.02

Appearance @25°C -------- Clear straw color

Color, Gardner Scale --------------------- 4 Max

Viscosity, (Brookfield) ---- 19,000 - 25,000 cps

APPLICATIONS:

  • Provides long-term defoaming persistence.
  • Acts as a general formulation aid in numerous Pulp and Paper applications.

 

ICM 529C should be use at 0.25-0.5 wt % of formulation weight, as supplied.

ICM 529C should be stored at temperatures above 40°F.  If freezing or thickening occurs,
warming will restore fluidity.

ICM 529C is available in 440 pound drums and 2200 pound totes.
