ICM EM 243
50% Paintable Release Emulsion

ICM EM 243 is a 50% active silicone emulsion of ICM 203 alkyl methyl silicone fluid.

This product is specially formulated to be used where painting or post-finishing of a molded
surface is required (as in die casting.)

This product is easily diluted with water, demonstrates excellent dilution stability at very low
concentrations and is chemically inert.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES:

Appearance @25°C -- White creamy liquid

pH (as is) @20°C ------------------------ 7.3

% Alkyl Fluid -------------------------- 50

Specific Gravity @25°C -------------- 0.98

APPLICATIONS:

  • Release Aid for molding, extrusion, laminating, casting of:  Rubber, Plastics, Metal

  • Vinyl Cleaners

  • Polish Formulations

  • Textile Lubricants

  • Foundry Release

ICM EM 243 is available in 40 pounds net pails and 440 pound net drums.
