ICM SF 268 is a 100% active alkylmethyl silicone polymer with a viscosity of
1000 centistokes.
It is a colorless-to-light yellow liquid silicone polymer that is used as a release
agent for
molding, extruding, and fabricating rubber and plastic parts. ICM SF 268 does
not impair the
adhesion or alter the appearance of most coatings.
ICM SF 268 withstands molding temperatures, resists oxidation, and does not
smoke, break
down, carbonize, or build up on molds and dies.
It can be applied by painting, spraying, or used as an internal release agent in many systems.
